The beautiful rectangular frontage dating from the Renaissance of the Avignon's Academy of music who cuts out on a superb blue sky and exhibant, like a big blazon, remarkable low-reliefs representing, on the left, an eagle and on the right, a dragon. Griffons have patience on the roof and watch for the visitors, and they are numerous, some thousands each day, being found on this very big place to come admiring the imposing Palais des Papes, vis-a-vis this palate and all the vestiges of this medieval and renaissance past who borders it. There is the giddiness in front of these very imposing monuments and their relentless beauty.
